How to use federated wiki like TheBrain

Watch the first minute of the video below to refresh on how TheBrain works:

YOUTUBE kBBrcwb6mnI TheBrain: Thoughts and Links

pages (thoughts) connected by links (links) are the building blocks of your wiki (brain)

When a page (thought) link is clicked, it is opened to the right, becoming the active page (thought).

To create a link, double tap on the the grey box following this paragraph, and enclose text inside two square brackets [[_____]] , then hit ESC or click away. (In order for this to work, you need to be in wiki editing mode. To turn that on, click the word "wiki" in the bottom bar. A ✓ will appear beside wiki when in editing mode. Click it again to turn back off.)

Now drag the links you created into the sections (PageFolds) below to choose how the active page, that you are editing, relates to the page on the other end of that link.

Federated Wiki automatically gives you a list of any backlinks to a page, at the bottom of that page, if there are any. This page has a backlink because the Welcome Visitors page links here. Click where it says "1 pages link here" at the bottom of this page to see how the backlink section expands to show the backlinks.

At the bottom of some pages, like this one, you will see a diagram. It is what TheBrain would look like if you clicked on the thought that the page is representing, making it the active thought. These diagrams are interactive. Clicking them is the same as clicking other links on the page, and will make whatever node you click the active page to the right. These diagrams all share the same logic, as specified in the Graphviz markup on TheBrain Default Layout. Parent-child links in the diagram are blue, jump links are green.
